The iPad mini (A17 Pro) is Apple’s smallest tablet, with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display at 2266-by-1488 and 326 ppi, the highest pixel density in the iPad range. It runs the A17 Pro chip, supports Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), and weighs 293 grams in Wi-Fi form. Apple opened pre-orders on 15 October 2024 and began sales on 23 October 2024 at a United States launch price of $499. It remains the current iPad mini in 2026 and is the only iPad in the line to use Wi-Fi 6E.
