These terms govern your use of MobiFacts at mobifacts.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

MobiFacts is an information site. We publish specifications, prices and comparisons for consumer electronics, along with news and reviews. We do not sell any of the products described, we do not process orders, and we are not party to any transaction between you and a seller.

2. Using the site

You may read, search and share the pages on this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • copy, scrape or systematically extract the specification database, in whole or in substantial part, by any automated means;
  • republish our compiled content as your own or as a competing product or dataset;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or its accounts;
  • interfere with the site’s operation, including by overloading it or by circumventing any security or rate-limiting measure;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms us or another user.

We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe any of the above is happening.

3. Our content

The selection, arrangement, compilation and original writing on this site are ours and are protected by copyright. The underlying factual specifications are facts, and we claim no ownership of the facts themselves — but the compiled database, the written summaries and the site’s design and code are ours.

You may quote a short extract with clear attribution and a link. You may not reproduce whole pages or bulk content without our written permission.

4. Reviews and other things you submit

When you submit a review, rating or other material you confirm that:

  • it is your own work and your own honest opinion;
  • you have not been paid or otherwise induced by a manufacturer, seller or competitor to post it;
  • it does not contain anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, misleading or in breach of anyone’s rights;
  • it does not contain personal information about anyone, including yourself, that you would not want published;
  • it does not contain advertising, spam or links posted for promotional purposes.

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, store, reproduce and adapt it on this site and in connection with promoting the site, for as long as the site operates.

We review submissions before they appear. We may decline, edit or remove anything at our discretion and without notice, and we are not obliged to publish anything. Removal of a review is not an admission about its subject matter.

If you believe a published review is false, defamatory or otherwise unlawful, write to legal@mobifacts.com identifying the page and what is wrong with it, and we will review it promptly.

5. Accuracy

The site is compiled with reasonable care from manufacturers’ published sources, but specifications and prices change and errors happen. The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

6. Availability

We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, at any time, without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MobiFacts, its owner and its contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, this site. This includes any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and it includes loss arising from a purchasing decision made on the strength of information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us (which, for a free site, is nothing) or INR 1,000.

8. Third-party sites and advertising

The site links to and displays material from third parties, including advertising networks and manufacturers’ sites. We do not control those parties, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, products, offers or practices. Any dealing you have with them is between you and them.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms or from material you submit to the site.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use the site from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your own local law.
