The EOS R50 V is an APS-C mirrorless camera aimed at video work, released in May 2025. It uses a 24.2-megapixel sensor with the DIGIC X processor, records 4K at 60p in crop mode and 4K at 30p oversampled from 6K, and supports Canon Log 3 with 10-bit colour. There is no viewfinder, so framing uses the 3-inch touchscreen, and the body takes RF and RF-S lenses with a single UHS-II SD card slot. In India Canon lists it only with the RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens.
