vivo X500 series launches in China on 21 September
Three models with ZEISS camera tuning and a custom Sony-developed sensor, with 4K 240fps slow motion confirmed; pricing has not been announced.

- vivo confirmed the launch date of 21 September 2026, 7pm China time, at its Creator Festival in Yantai on 7 September 2026.
- Three models are confirmed: X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, succeeding the X300 series.
- Official renders confirming colours and design have been published, and a reservation campaign is live on vivo's China site.
- The Pro models use a ZEISS-branded main camera built on a custom BluePrint LightGuard 900 / Phantom 900 sensor developed with Sony and vivo's imaging team; vivo states it reaches 17EV of dynamic range.
- Reported sensor line-up on the base X500: a 1/1.28-inch LYTIA-828 main sensor, LYTIA-610 telephoto and 50MP ultrawide; the X500 Pro Max is reported to use a 200MP HP0 telephoto.
