Why it matters
At Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999, the Redmi 17C 5G does not compete on screen or chip, keeping a 1600×720 LCD and the 6nm Dimensity 6300; its case rests instead on endurance and practicality: a 6,000mAh battery Xiaomi says keeps 80% or more of its capacity after 1,000 full charge cycles, IP64, a charger in the box, microSD and a headphone jack. Xiaomi's commitment of two years of OS updates and four years of security updates sets how long that hardware will be supported.
