realme 16x 5G lands in India from INR 25,999
A large battery, a 144Hz LCD screen and a Dimensity 6300 chip, on sale from 13 August with launch offers cutting the entry price to INR 23,999.

- Launched in India on 12 August 2026; first sale 13 August 2026 from 12pm IST via Flipkart and realme's India site.
- Launch offer: a flat INR 2,000 discount or up to INR 3,000 exchange credit, bringing the effective starting price to INR 23,999, with no-cost EMI up to 10 months.
- Display: 6.8-inch LCD, HD+ 1570 x 720, 144Hz maximum refresh rate, 1200 nits peak in HBM mode.
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300, octa-core, Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, LPDDR4X memory, UFS 2.2 storage, microSD expansion.
- Battery marketed as 7,000mAh; realme's own spec sheet lists a rated 6,820mAh / 26.46Wh, with 45W fast charging, reverse wired charging and bypass charging.
- Cameras: 50MP f/1.8 rear with autofocus, 8MP f/2.0 front.
- Software: realme UI 7.0 on Android 16. Colours: Glory White and Endurance Brown.
- realme states the battery holds at least 80 per cent capacity after six years of use based on one full charge cycle every 1.52 days.
- realme also introduced the realme P4s 5G and realme C100i 4G in India on 31 August 2026.

Why it matters
