Lenovo Yoga tablets promise Android updates until 2033
The Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2, shown at IFA on 3 September, carry 4K 144Hz screens and start at EUR 649 and EUR 849.

- Announced 3 September 2026 at Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026 in Berlin; availability from September 2026.
- Yoga Tab Gen 2: 11.1-inch 4K PureSight Pro display, 3840 x 2560, 3:2 aspect ratio, up to 144Hz, 1100 nits peak brightness.
- Yoga Tab Gen 2: MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, 8GB or 12GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage with microSD support, 11,000 mAh battery, 68W charging, 8.56mm thick, 480g, detachable 2-in-1 keyboard pack.
- Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2: 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display, 3840 x 2560, 3:2, up to 144Hz, 1100 nits peak.
- Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB or 16GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB expandable storage, 12,700 mAh battery, 68W charging, 8.27mm thick, 605g, six speakers, magnetic clamshell keyboard.
- Both ship with Android 17 and work with the Tab Pen Pro 2 stylus (8,192 pressure levels).
- Software commitment: seven major Android OS upgrades, through Android 24, and up to seven years of security updates, to 2033.
- Both are pen-first designs aimed at drawing and note-taking.

Why it matters
