iPhone 18 Pro goes on sale; foldable iPhone Duo follows 23 October
Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max reached shops on 18 September in more than 65 countries, starting at $1,199 and $1,299; the foldable iPhone Duo, at $1,999, does not ship until 23 October.

- Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale on Friday, 18 September 2026 in more than 65 countries and regions.
- Pre-orders for both models opened on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time.
- Twenty additional countries receive the two phones on Friday, 25 September 2026.
- The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299, both with 256GB of storage.
- In India the iPhone 18 Pro is priced at Rs 1,64,900 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at Rs 1,79,900.
- Both models are sold in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities and in burgundy, glacier, silver and black.
- Both phones use Apple's A20 Pro chip, built on 2-nanometer process technology.
- The 48MP Fusion Main camera has a variable aperture with ƒ/1.48, ƒ/1.8, ƒ/2.8 and ƒ/4 settings.
- Apple rates the eSIM iPhone 18 Pro Max at up to 45 hours of video playback and the eSIM iPhone 18 Pro at up to 36 hours.
- Apple's foldable iPhone Duo, unveiled on 9 September 2026, opens pre-orders on Friday 16 October and becomes available on Friday 23 October in more than 70 countries, with 28 further regions on 30 October.
- The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB, with 512GB at $2,199, 1TB at $2,599 and 2TB at $3,199.
- The iPhone Duo pairs a 5.4-inch outer display with a 7.6-inch inner display and integrates Touch ID into the side button.
Why it matters
The five-week gap between the Pro models and the foldable is the first time Apple has split a launch this way, and it puts the iPhone Duo into the same October window as the Android foldables it competes with.
