Honor Magic9 series set for 28 September in China
Honor has shown the design and confirmed dual 200MP cameras, and blind pre-orders are open, but there is no price or international date.

- Honor confirmed on Weibo that the Magic9 series launches in Beijing on 28 September 2026; the date was first made public on 13 August 2026 at Honor's Robot Phone keynote.
- Honor CEO Li Jian said the series opened for blind pre-orders across all channels, including Honor authorised stores, the Honor Mall and major e-commerce platforms.
- Arrives roughly a month earlier in the year than the Magic8 series did.
- Honor has confirmed a dual 200MP rear camera arrangement: a 200MP 1/1.28-inch primary sensor at f/1.57 and a 200MP 1/1.4-inch telephoto at f/2.6.
- Honor's own launch poster shows the phone in a Moss Green finish with a wide rectangular camera island and a knurled ring around the lenses.
- Teasers show a pill-shaped front cutout housing a 3D time-of-flight sensor.
- A new 500mm teleconverter accessory joins the existing 200mm teleconverter.

Why it matters
Honor is moving its flagship launch about a fortnight earlier than last year and selling the series on interchangeable teleconverter hardware rather than sensor size alone; it is also among the first phones linked to a 2nm-class Qualcomm chip.
