Honor X9e Pro launches with an 11,000mAh battery and 80W charging

Honor's X9e Pro, launched on 24 September in Malaysia, pairs an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging, a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED rated at 10,000 nits peak, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip and IP69K sealing, from RM1,899.

The details

  • Honor's global product page gives the X9e Pro a battery of 11,000mAh typical capacity and 10,510mAh rated capacity, built on silicon-carbon anode technology.
  • Honor lists 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 27W reverse wired charging.
  • Honor claims a six-year battery health expectancy at an average of six hours of use per day, and quotes lab figures of over 164 hours of music playback, 66 hours of video playback and 35 hours of short-form video playback.
  • The screen is a 6.8-inch LTPS AMOLED at 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 10,000-nit peak brightness figure and DCI-P3 coverage.
  • The chipset is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, which Honor's own page describes only as an all-new Snapdragon 6 Series processor.
  • Cameras are a 108MP main unit on a 1/1.67-inch sensor, a 5MP ultrawide and a 16MP front camera.
  • Honor lists IP68, IP69 and IP69K ingress ratings with submersion to 10 metres, plus SGS five-star drop-resistance certification at 3 metres.
  • The phone ships with 8GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, priced at MYR 1,899 and MYR 2,399 respectively, with Honor's RAM Turbo feature extending the 8GB to an effective 24GB.
  • The software is MagicOS 10, based on Android 16.
  • Honor Malaysia lists pre-orders running from 24 September to 8 October 2026, with shipping from 9 October 2026.

Why it matters

The notable number here is the battery rather than the chip: silicon-carbon cells have reached the point where a mid-priced Snapdragon 6-series handset carries 11,000mAh, and Honor has paired it with IP69K sealing instead of reserving either for a flagship. The caveat is reach — the launch so far is Malaysia-only, with no pricing or dates confirmed for other markets.
