The EOS R5 Mark II is a 45-megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera released in August 2024. Its back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor works with the DIGIC Accelerator and DIGIC X processors to give 30 frames per second with the electronic shutter and internal 8K DCI RAW recording at up to 60p. Autofocus is Dual Pixel Intelligent AF with subject detection for people, animals and vehicles, plus Action Priority for team sports. Storage is one CFexpress Type B slot alongside one UHS-II SD slot.
