The HyperX OMEN 16 is HP’s 2026 mainstream 16-inch gaming laptop, offered in India as the 16-ap1096AX with a 16-core, 32-thread AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7. This configuration uses a 16-inch 2K (1920 x 1200) IPS panel at up to 165 Hz with 400 nits and 100% sRGB, 16 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The chassis carries an 83 Wh battery with a 280 W AC adapter, a full-size 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with numeric keypad, and a full port set including HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and three USB Type-A ports.
