The 2026 ROG Strix SCAR 18 is an 18-inch desktop-replacement gaming laptop built on the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs, both running at 175W under ROG Boost. Its ROG Nebula HDR display is a 4K (3840 x 2400) Mini LED panel at 240Hz with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 1600 nits peak brightness. Memory and storage are user-upgradeable to 128GB of DDR5-6400 and 8TB of PCIe 5.0 SSD in RAID 0. Cooling uses an end-to-end vapour chamber with Tri-Fan Technology, and the machine ships with a 450W adapter and a 90Wh battery.
