The 13-inch MacBook Air is built around the Apple M5 chip, which pairs a 10-core CPU with an 8-core or 10-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. It uses a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display at 2560 by 1664 and a fanless aluminium enclosure measuring 1.13 cm at its thickest point and weighing 1.23 kg. Apple quotes up to 18 hours of video streaming from the 53.8-watt-hour battery. Connectivity comes from the Apple N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, alongside two Thunderbolt 4 ports and MagSafe 3 charging.
