The iPad (A16) is Apple’s entry-level tablet, with an 11-inch Liquid Retina display at 2360-by-1640 and the A16 chip. It starts at 128GB of storage and supports Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation), the latter paired and charged through a USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter. Apple opened pre-orders on 4 March 2025 and began sales on 12 March 2025 at a United States launch price of $349. It is the only current iPad without an Apple Intelligence section on its specification page, and it uses Wi-Fi 6 rather than the Wi-Fi 7 found on the iPad Air and iPad Pro.
