The Mate X7 is Huawei’s current book-style foldable, opening to an 8-inch LTPO OLED and folding down to 9.5 mm around a 6.49-inch cover screen, with an aviation-grade aluminium frame and an unusually high IP58/IP59 ingress rating for a folding phone. A 5600 mAh battery, 66 W wired and 50 W wireless charging sit behind a 50 MP variable-aperture main camera that opens as wide as F1.49. It launched globally in Dubai in December 2025 at 2,099 euros and is listed on Huawei’s German, French, Italian and Spanish sites; Huawei does not publish its chipset or any 5G bands.
