The Zenfone 12 Ultra is ASUS’s last mainstream flagship, announced on 6 February 2025 and never succeeded, so it is still the current Zenfone. It shares the ROG Phone 9 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED and gimbal-stabilised 50MP Sony Lytia 700 camera, but in a lighter 220g body with a 5500mAh battery, 65W wired and 15W Qi 1.3 wireless charging. ASUS leaned on on-device AI here, including local large-language-model processing, AI call translation and AI photo and video tools. It went on sale in Europe at about EUR 1,099; ASUS did not sell it in the United States or India.
