ColorOS 17 replaces OxygenOS and realme UI on 17 September
Oppo's Android 17 software becomes the single system for Oppo, OnePlus and realme phones, with rollout expected across more than 130 models.

- Oppo has confirmed ColorOS 17, based on Android 17, launches on 17 September 2026 alongside the Find X10 series.
- OnePlus and realme confirmed in July 2026 that OxygenOS and realme UI are being replaced by ColorOS from the Android 17 generation onward.
- Oppo's stated performance figures: about 35 per cent better interface smoothness, about 20 per cent faster app cold starts, and a 50 per cent increase in the number of apps that can stay active in the background.
- The headline interface change is a floating island navigation element used across the system and built-in apps.
