Comparing the performance of the Vivo V40 and the Motorola Edge 50 Pro to determine which is superior

Vivo V40 and Motorola Edge 50 Pro (review) are fierce rivals in the same price range because of their near price alignment. These are smartphones with a lifestyle focus, designed to offer an all-encompassing experience rather than a narrow one. Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC powers both smartphones. Does that imply that the two smartphones will operate similarly, or is there more to it than meets the eye? Let’s examine the performance of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Vivo V40.

On the AnTuTu test, however, which assesses the smartphone’s GPU, CPU, memory, and user experience, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro marginally beats the Vivo V40. In terms of gaming, where we compare the real-world performance of smartphones with their thermal efficiency, the Vivo V40 appears to be doing better. After 30 minutes of playtime on games like BGMI, Call of Duty, and Real Racing 3, the total temperature of the phone rose by 12 degrees. In contrast, the temperature of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro increased by about 17.3 degrees. Moreover, the Vivo smartphone provides better frame rate for BGMI.

Verdict
Based on the comparison, it appears that the overall performance of the Vivo V40 and Motorola Edge 50 Pro is comparable. However, as demonstrated by gaming tests where it also outperforms its competitor in thermal management, the Vivo V40 shines out thanks to its stronger GPU and CPU capabilities. On the other hand, AnTuTu claims that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has better memory performance and user experience, and it can manage heavy loads with ease.
In the end, the decision is based on your financial situation and tastes. The Vivo V40 smartphone is more expensive than the Motorola handset.
