The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC has been tested on a purported Xiaomi phone.
It is anticipated to be a gadget from the Xiaomi Civi series, despite not being confirmed.
The OPPO Find X8 series, the Vivo X200 series, and other devices are anticipated to run on the SoC.
In June, Xiaomi unveiled the 14 Civi in India, a device sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU. A leaker has now suggested that a second Xiaomi smartphone featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which hasn’t been released yet, is being developed. The source hasn’t disclosed the device’s name, but it’s assumed to be a smartphone from the Xiaomi Civi line. These are the anticipated specifications of the purported smartphone.
Expectations for the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset
Although it has not yet been revealed, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor will rival the impending Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is expected to have a single-core performance that is thirty percent faster than the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset that drives the Vivo X100 series. It is likely to be powered by the TSMC 3nm technology.
The SoC is anticipated to include an octa-core architecture with three Cortex-X4 performance cores, four Cortex-A720 efficiency cores, and a single Cortex-X5 prime core operating at 3.4GHz, though this has not been confirmed. Furthermore, by the time the CPU is deployed, it is expected that the frequency of the prime core would increase.
There are rumors that smartphones such as the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, OPPO Find X8, OPPO Find X8 Pro, and Redmi K80 Ultra will come with the yet-to-be-released MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. Furthermore, in comparison to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, the chipset is anticipated to have better AI picture generating capabilities.
